A huge thanks to everyone who supported us on Great Apes Giving Day, which took place on 4 October this year. Through this exciting 24-hour fundraising campaign, organised by Arcus Foundation, in partnership with the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries and hosted by Razoo<, we raised $5,050, plus qualified for a cash prize of $1,250 as the 3rd top fundraiser for sanctuaries in Asia. Throughout the event we also won additional prizes of $300 through matching Golden Tickets – whereby each hour a $100 gift “Golden Ticket” was randomly assigned to a pledged donation. Thank you to donors Karin Rudvin, Jacqueline Hutagaol and one anonymous donor for winning us this extra support.
This was a great opportunity for us to spread awareness and new support for our life saving work with Bornean orangutans and if you haven’t yet given, it’s not too late! Donations are still being accepted throughout Monday, October 10 2016 at https://greatapes.razoo.com/us/story/Borneo-Orangutan-Survival-Foundation
Thank you all for your amazing support and to Arcus Foundation, Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries and Razoo for organising and hosting this great campaign!

These orangutans have been progressing through our rehabilitation program for 11 years. Wanna is now 17 and finally ready to be returned to natural habitat and freedom....read more
